In this chapter, Greg was reading silent when he felt hungry. Mrs Mckormick ( his teacher) Had been done reading and Greg forgot his lunch so his teacher said someone in her class could lend him fifty cents. Then in the cafetiera line Greg was clinking and jiggling the four quarters in his pocket . Some of his friends because half the class raised a hand to lend him fifty cents was extra quarters.
